So, the month of May came about 65 days early this year. We are going on 10 straight days of temperatures between 32 and 44 … and it’s still February. The snow is fading, but it’s only a trick. Winter is far from over in Alaska, and we are just being teased. Warm weather in the winter annoys us Alaskans because it’s like putting a Mercedes emblem on a Dodge Spirit, just because it’s warm does not mean we are living in Florida. Maybe the analogy is a little weak, but there is some truth in there somewhere.
I flew 7 hours today and it was a beautiful day for flight. I wish I could have taken you all with me because there were some awesome views. Fortunately the view is not going anywhere, so get up here and go flying.
