Honestly … glaciers have a lot more white ice than blue, but, I did not think “White Ice Aviation” had the same ring to it. This glacial lake had drained the day before I took this photo. The only reason the ice in this photo is blue is because the bergs are still saturated with water. I’ve talked about this before and you can see a video of the iceberg lake here. No matter how many times I fly over this or show it to clients I am always impressed by these frozen monstrosities. The picture is rather impressive … imagine it in real life.
