Ya’ so the camera was in the wrong mode when this shot was taken … oops. But you get the idea, I am really high-up on a glacier.
Anyways, remember a couple of days ago on the post from Dec 29th I was commenting on the fact that most of the big crevasses reveal themselves by saging … and that is where we DON’T land. This picture shows it perfectly see the size of those arced crevasses on the left side of the image … pretty cool. I totally forgot about this picture but I thought it showed those sags really well and I wanted to point that out. This is in the Chugach mountains around the 9000′ elevation, and that is Mike on the ground I was still descending for landing.
