We dropped off these 4 hikers deep in the Talkeetna Mountains today. They are going to walk for the next several days, and we will pick them up at another air strip miles away. The weather was not ideal but the wildflowers are in full bloom. With all the rain the greens are beginning to explode off the South facing slopes. Summer has arrived in the Alaskan mountains and if you want to get out and enjoy it you better hurry … because you have about 7 weeks before the snow starts flying. BackPackAK.com
