Mike and I each had a passenger on board and we were out showing them around our front yard. We landed up on this glacier and hiked around a bit. We also showed them the ice berg lake that drains, and it was as spectacular as always. We also saw a grizzly bear eating a calf not far from our house.
It was a good day for flying because it was cloudy, calm, and relatively warm. Right now the caribou herd is only 15 miles away so its not uncommon to see 5000+ head of caribou in a matter of minutes. Summer in Alaska is an amazing thing, I wish everybody could see it.
