Last Saturday I was headed home from a long day of flying when the sun was setting behind the mountains and I got these photos. We used to live in Hawaii, and I was always disapointed that the sunsets only lasted about 33 seconds on the islands. In Alaska our sunsets last for hours and hours during the Summer months, and a good 30 minutes this time of year. The sky was on fire for the whole flight home.
