Photo of the Day — Sunset over Cook Inlet

This is the view we had two nights ago as we headed in after a long day of flying. When we left Palmer at 9 am it was low over cast and snowing. We flew West into clear skies and blazing sun and enjoyed an excellent day of flying. As we were headed back home it became apparent that the clouds had never left the Palmer area. It was still dark, dingy and spitting snow. That is when I decided to turn the Cub, and snap this picture of the sun setting in the West where the clear skies prevailed.
