Photo of the Day — Sun Spots

This is somewhere high in the Chugach Mountains and we were dropping off climbers.  Sometimes on days like this when the sunshine is spotty on the surface of the glacier, we will simply land wherever the sun spot is.  We do this to ensure that we have good visibilty on the first landing.  By the time we return with consecutive loads the sun spots are inevitably shining elsewhere, but then our brain can process distance and height off of the old tracks.
