I love this picture because it gives me the creeps. I don’t much like water because I grew up in Alaska and water generally means death. That lake is about 40 degrees and with the falling rain it makes me feel cold just looking at it. I was over the shore line when I took this picture heading to a narrower spot in the lake before I crossed. I don’t swim well and the thought of gliding down to that watery surface with a silent engine just gives me the heebie jeebies. I’ve never lost engine power but I’ve chosen not to test this blessing by exposing myself unnecessarily.
I think it’s a pretty picture and it grows on me the more I look at it. It’s rather bland at first but then again maybe not, I can’t decide.
