So this was pretty cool, Mike and I were headed out across the Chugach mountains. The sun was shining and the rain was falling and the photo opportunities were awesome. We get some excellent rainbows up around Sheep Mountain area and they are often brilliant like this one. The Blue Ice Aviation calendar has a photo that is similar to this one for the month of July. I took several during the 90 seconds of brilliant colors before the pouring rain. Whenever I stick my arm out the window in a rain storm the photos never turn out … imagine that ;o)
