Do you recognize this photo? It’s the first image I posted as the Blue Ice Aviation “photo of the day” one year ago today, November 1st 2009. I think we’ve done really well during the past year working on this together. You are more a part of this than you realize. A blog is not much without viewers, and you guys have been awesome. We do watch our stats, and take to heart your words of encouragement, and direction. If I had not received the encouragement from you to keep posting I probably would have done something else with my time. These photos don’t post themselves, and it is a fair bit of work every night to get this done. It’s been a busy year with nearly 1000 hours logged on my Super Cub, a web-site built, and more than 600 photos posted on the blog, and best of all … my daughter Ali was born in April. I just simply wanted to say, THANK YOU TO ALL WHO WATCH THE BLUE ICE AVIATION BLOG!!
With out the help of the brains at Side Project Co. none of this would have happened. I would still be without a logo, website, blog or hoodie. I call them my “web-guys” because they take care of all the techie stuff that is behind the scenes and absolutely necessary. Thanks a billion Jon and Dave, you guys are awesome. I am stoked about this next year.
