Mike and I had a full day today. We put 8 people up on the glacier by 1230 and then hauled two skiers off of Marcus Baker, then picked up a load of gear off of the Gannet. Great day for flying, and since it was a sunny Saturday in April, everybody who had av gas to burn was out boring holes in the sky. It was blowing about 20 knots out of the South up at 10,000 feet, but it was a relatively smooth and we were able to work with it. I took this picture of Mike as he was landing on the glacier today with the last client.
This was my first full day on the new engine and it is running like a … finely tuned sewing machine. There are no oil leaks, and at the end of the day my oil screen is a clean as a whistle, so I am very pleased to be back to work.
