Photos of Last Week

It was a good week at Sheep Mountain.  The weather was foggy in the mornings but flyable in the afternoons.  We’ve been staying busy with mountaineers, trekkers, gold miners, biologists, geologists, friends, and family.  Everybody has needs this time of year, and one of our airplanes is often the solution to the problem.  Mid-July is the finest time in Alaska, as far as I’m concerned, because the weather is generally fair and there is more summer ahead to look forward to.  The wildflowers are sporting their most colorful coats, and the Caribou are bunched up in the Southern Talkeetnas.  This is definitely a fine time of year, and we’ve got a big day planned tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day, and the day after that.
I apologize for the lack of posts but I have spent very few hours indoors.  Summer in Alaska only lasts about 12 hours :o) … so I am outside as much as possible.
