I like photos like this, that really show a realistic perspective of my office through more than just the image. I wish you could have seen the whole landscape because a storm had recently hammered this area. The clouds were breaking up, and the sun was shining, and the seasons first snow was lying on the ground. We were a day late making this flight across the range because of the recently passed storm. I love getting airborne for the first time after a long stretch of adverse conditions. There is something refreshing about flying through improving weather conditions and changed landscape. This photo somehow captured this refreshment for me, I love it.
I am looking forward to improving weather conditions around here right now. It has been blowing nearly 70 mph for twenty-four hours and the temperature is only 15 degrees. I was out at 3 am this morning checking on the house, because the gusts were shaking our cabin so hard I could not sleep. Not that I get scared, but if I was someone who got scared, last night would have been a good time to do it :o)
