I landed here so that I could hike down to an old miner’s cabin built in the 1940’s. This was the closest landing site within walking distance, and is still took me nearly 2 hours to get here. I was hoping to find a huge can full of gold nuggets sitting on the kitchen table, but unfortunately he must have taken that with him. The cabin was in pretty rough shape, but because of the dry environment the wood was still mostly intact. This is a really cool historical site, but the landing site is really short and the walk is rather long. If it was the other way around I would fly you here so you could check it out too.
