Weather Report

Maybe I spoke too soon on last night’s blog post. The seasons were thinking about changing. This is the current image at Sheep Mountain. The elevation here is about 2600′. Our clients are waiting for us at 5500′ up on the glacier just 15 miles from where this picture was taken. I was supposed to pick them up yesterday but the weather has not relented in the past 36 hours. Fortunately mountaineers know that bad weather is part of the game. All we can do is sit and wait. It’s not that much fun for them or me, because I can’t make any plans until they are picked up. Waiting on weather … the story of my life.
