I put nearly 40 hours on the Cub last week. The weather has been incredible and I was out at our Summer base of operation for a big job. We have no running water, telephone, or internet up there during the winter months which explains my lack of photos lately. I was reduced to my iPhone on the extended network, and this was a beautiful thing for a time.
I worked with this helicopter all week and I got some great footage that I hope to share in the future. The problem is that I have 100’s of gigs of flying footage from past years, but no time to edit it. I hope I get some time to post the helicopter footage because it really is awesome. If the weather cooperates we will head back up on the mountain tomorrow for some more work. It really is fun when there is not a cloud in the sky and the winds are dead calm.
The first photo shows me stashing some gas out on a lake, the second image is Mike’s hangar with Lulu sitting proudly at the door, and the third picture is a nice resting spot with a view for the helicopter crew.
