Yesterday was summer and we were able to get out and enjoy all 12 hours of it. It was beautiful, and sunny, and hot, and calm. We went hiking in the Talkeetna Mountains with the family, and our daughter proved to us that she is a real mountain goat. With most professions it’s best when you can work when the weather is bad and have the nice days off … in my line of work I sorta just wish it was nice all the time. Thankfully, Summer this year fell on a day with a light flying schedule, so we carved a few hours out and enjoyed it thoroughly.
