I’ve seen similar views from the ground but generally the view is better from the Super Cub. This is what a small rain shower looks like in a 25 mile per hour wind in Western Alaska. You can even see the wind velocity is greater near the surface than at altitude, because of the increase in deflection. This is a good perspective, and one that I don’t often see.
