OK, so I apologize for skipping my post yesterday. As much as I love my job of flying during the Summer months it is a major inhibitor of Summertime projects. Most of the projects that normal people do during the Summer I cram into the month of October. I am currently trying to get a slap poured for the arctic-entry to our house. I’ve been digging, transporting, and compacting dirt for the last couple of days and it has pretty much consumed me.
Anyways, enough about that. This is the view looking down our runway at Sheep Mt. This was a morning shot, and it demonstrates well the fog bank that often sits off the end of our runway. I also love the way the fog magnifies the mountains by obliterating their bases. There is something about being able to see only the tops of the hills that makes them look even bigger. I miss life on the mountain already, but digging dirt is kinda’ fun too.
