I really do hope you all had a great weekend and came back to work well rested and refreshed. I had an awesome Christmas weekend with family and friends, and I got an RC helicopter from my dad. I think it’s probably the most exciting thing I’ve ever gotten for Christmas. I started to hyperventilate when I was unwrapping it. It’s one of those little helicopters with the double rotors and the 8 axis controller. My brain can just barely transfer the necessary data to my thumbs, but I still feel like a hero every time I land it. I brought it out to the house today so that I could take periodic breaks, and fly it around the new construction landing on the table saw, window sills, and lumber piles. It was only 10 degrees out there, so the battery did not last long.
I took this picture last Spring while crossing the Talkeetna Mountains headed back to the house. I stuck my arm out the side window and snapped this picture. Whenever I do this the wind generally buffets my arm around so that the photos end up blurry, I must have gotten lucky on this one.
