I put another 8 hours on the cub today and I don’t think I felt a single bump. It has been awesome weather. We took Tuesday off because the wind was gusting to 65 mph and that tends to take the fun out of it. I took this photo last night as we were returning to Palmer at 1630. You can see Mike in front of me aligned directly above the peak of Lazy Mountain. Matanuska Peak (Byers Peak) is the tallest mountain standing well above the others at 6119′. It’s cold tonight, only 8 degrees, the beauty makes the cold a little easier to deal with I think.
