This is a picture I took while out beach combing on the Nushagak Peninsula last May. There was a storm blowing in from the west, and as we combed the beach, over a several hour period, the winds picked up from 5 mph to 25 mph. We actually ended up spending most of the afternoon hiking around looking for treasures in the sand. We would land and beach comb, and then fly a few more miles until we saw something worth checking out and then land again. I think we landed in 12 or 15 spots to explore because we were having such a good time. If you ever get a chanc to do this make sure you do.
I have a limited supply of Calendars and I am uncertain if I will re-order, because calendars get harder and harder to sell as the year progresses :o) I’ve learned that through experience. If you are interested order now, and if I sell enough I will order another batch from the printers. You can see the images selected for each month right here.
