There are probably a lot of Cub jocks out there who think what I am about to say is heresy … but, here it is; Flying an RC cub is just as much fun as flying the real thing. And the consequences are nil in comparison.
A friend from Spokane sent me this picture after he saw yesterday’s Cub photo from France, and I can’t stop laughing. That is one mean looking Cub. It appears to be a highly modified Hobby Zone Super Cub with ailerons, Engine mods, and MASSIVE TIRES. There is some skepticism as to whether or not it will fly … but flying is just a detail when it looks this cool.
Note: When my mom saw this photo she said; “Are those tires bigger than yours, and what is it doing in a house?”
