Somewhere in the Talkeetna Mountains in July. This airstrip is at 5000′ and the grass is only green for about 5 weeks every year. When the flowers bloom and the caribou are running through, it is truly an awesome location to experience. And it almost never rains here … ok, that was a lie, it does rain a bit. This area is probably best known for it’s unique geology.
