A friend of mine from Chile took this picture of me while I was landing with food and supplies. It was several years ago and the funny thing is… I have no idea where it was taken. I do not recognize the mountain, but I know it is in the Chugach somewhere near Marcus Baker. It is a great image that really gives a feel for the ruggedness of the landscape. When I take tourists on flight seeing trips over this terrain it really blows their minds because it is so otherworldly. It is like nothing you can describe, you just have to see it.
