Hello Duane, I had a good talk with Mark yesterday, I miss that guy.
Yes I was finishing up a Sheep Capture project with Fish and Game and I was using the antennas to radio track to the critters so the helicopter could locate and capture them. Some of the most fun flying we do. The man who built that cabin would push a wheel-barrow in from the highway (20 miles). You can still see his trail beat into the side of the mountain. He pushed that wheel-barrow all the way to the top of a 7000' mountain and dug a big hole. Pretty amazing. We know this because we found the wheel Barrow up there and the mining claim in an old tobacco can. He disappeared in the 50's and no one knows what happened to him. This was one of two cabins he would use along the trail to the top of the mountain. The only access to this place it by foot, or airplane, or helicopter.

My engine gets shipped next week...

-Matt Keller

Hello Matt,
Is the antenna on your strut for tracking critters? Also, what would be involved with the miner getting to that cabin without an airplane?
Duane
